Fire Safety Theory & Practical Course

Franklin’s Training Services have been providing training across the UK for almost 20 years.

Course duration:

3 hours

Aim:

To impart to all staff groups’ knowledge and awareness of the company’s fire safety policy and local fire procedures. To undertake practical applications including use of evacuation equipment, fire drills and fire-fighting equipment.

  • Company Policy & Procedures
  • Premises Passive Fire Precaution
  • Know your fire evacuation strategy
  • Staged Evacuation
  • Evacuation equipment and demonstration (ALBAC Mats/Chairs/Ski-Pads/etc.) DVD
  • Purpose of Periodic Fire Drills
  • Fire drill incorporating smoke and heat
  • How to tackle fire safely
  • Types of Extinguishers
  • Practical training in the use of extinguishers
  • Simulated live fire using Clean Burns Unit

Extinguisher training includes all current legislation, colour codes etc.

Easy-to-use handouts and practical application of extinguishers.

This course is presented using PowerPoint via projector screen and DVD.

This certificate is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
